Tea Party rally

So Lisa and I attended a Tea Party rally tonight. I will write more on this later, but I wanted to type out my initial impressions.

- Tea Party Patriots are not extremists, violent, or racist. They are conservative individuals who are trying to influence the conservative movement.

- Tea Party Patriots are concerned about the direction this country is headed and are trying to remind the public (and Washington) what values this nation was founded on.

- Tea Party Patriots promote fiscal responsibility, limited government involvement, and free market enterprise.

I left the event feeling inspired to learn more about the forefathers and was reminded about the responsibility of being an American citizen. Having attended a rally myself, I am also a little surprised at how the media has represented these individuals and this movement.  Let me just say, the media has been wrong.
